From May 15th to 17th, Mr. FUNAKOSHI Takehiro, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, will travel to Washington, D.C., the United States. During his visit, Vice Minister Funakoshi will meet the Honorable Christopher Thomas Landau, Deputy Secretary of State of the United States of America, to exchange views, building upon the outcomes of the Japan-U.S. Summit meeting in February, on Japan-U.S cooperation towards further strengthening the Japan-U.S. Alliance and realizing a free and open Indo-Pacific, as well as collaboration among like-minded countries in the region, regional issues, and cooperation on global issues.
