Visit to Japan by Mr. Jordi Hereu, Minister of Industry and Tourism of The Kingdom of Spain

  1. H.E. Mr. Jordi Hereu, Minister of Industry and Tourism of the Kingdom of Spain, will pay a visit to Japan from May 14 to 17.
  2. During his stay in Japan, Minister Hereu will participate in the Spanish National Day Event of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, on May 16, as official guest of the Government of Japan.
  3. Japan and Spain have confirmed that they will further strengthen bilateral relations, through occasions such as the 150th anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Spain in 2018. It is expected that the visit of Minister Hereu to Japan and Spain's participation in the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan will further deepen bilateral relations.
