Visit to Japan by H.E. Mr. Surangel S. WHIPPS, Jr., President of the Republic of Palau

H.E. Mr. Surangel S. WHIPPS, Jr., President of the Republic of Palau will visit Japan from April 26 to 30, 2025 to attend Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
- During his stay in Japan, President Whipps will participate in the National Day Event of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, as an official guest of the Government of Japan.
- Japan and Palau have confirmed their intention to further strengthen bilateral relations in 2024, marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. The Government of Japan hopes that this visit will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and the Republic of Palau.
