Message of Condolences Issued by Foreign Minister IWAYA Takeshi Regarding the damages caused by the wild fire in the Republic of Korea

On March 27, Foreign Minister IWAYA Takeshi sent the following message of condolences to H.E. Cho Tae-yul, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea (ROK), regarding the damages caused by the wildfires in the southeastern region of the ROK.
“I am deeply saddened to learn of the loss of precious lives and the tremendous damage caused by the wild fire in and around Gyeongsangbuk-do and Gyeongsangnam-do of the ROK.
I would like to express my heartfelt condolences about the lives lost and send my deepest sympathies to the bereaved families.
I sincerely pray for the swift recovery of the people and for the earliest possible return to normal life in the affected areas.”
