Delisting of Entities Designated for Asset Freezing and Other Measures against Terrorists and Others

In line with the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolutions 1267, 1989, and 2253, Japan has been applying asset freezing and other measures on a total of 542 terrorists-affiliated individuals and entities. The Government of Japan hereby lifts the asset freezing and other measures against one individual while delisting of these, in accordance with the UNSC Resolution mentioned above.
- Decision One individual is to be removed from the designated list for the asset freezing and other measures based on the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Notice promulgated on February 28, 2025.
- Individual removed from the list No. 353. LIONEL DUMONT
(Note) As a result of this decision, a total of number of individuals and entities designated for asset freezing and other measures will be 541.
