State Minister for Foreign Affairs MIYAJI’s attendance at the “Japan-India-Africa Business Forum”

On February 26, Mr. MIYAJI Takuma, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, attended the "Japan-India-Africa Business Forum,” co-hosted by Nikkei Inc. and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and supported by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, held in Tokyo, Japan.

State Minister MIYAJI gave a closing address, referring to Japanese companies operating in India that are exporting to Africa from their Indian bases and developing infrastructure businesses in collaboration with Indian companies. State Minister MIYAJI also stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would support Japanese companies that are developing such cross-border activities, and that the Ministry would aim for further prosperity of the enormous economic zone stretching from Asia to Africa by passing on the results of the discussions at today’s forum to TICAD 9 to be held in August this year.
