Meeting between Vice Minister Okano and U.S. Congressman Waltz

On January 12 (January 13, JST), Mr. OKANO Masataka, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, named as the next National Security Advisor, held a meeting with Congressman Michael George Glen Waltz, the House of Representatives of the United States, in Florida, the United States.
Both sides exchanged views on the direction of the Japan-U.S. cooperation and the issues facing the international community. They also confirmed that they will continue to closely coordinate with each other.
