Congratulatory Message from Foreign Minister IWAYA to H.E. Mr. Kęstutis BUDRYS, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania

On January 6, Mr. IWAYA Takeshi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, sent a congratulatory letter to H.E. Mr. Kęstutis BUDRYS on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.
In the letter, Minister Iwaya congratulated Minister Budrys on his appointment, and noting the deepening bilateral relationship under the strategic partnership, expressed his intention to cooperate with the Lithuania toward realizing a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific,” and further strengthening bilateral relationship based on the recognition that the security of Europe and the Indo-Pacific is inseparable as the security environment becomes increasingly severe.
