The determination for the Logo and Catchphrase for the 60th anniversary of the normalization of the Japan-ROK relations

Logo for the 60th anniversary of the normalization of the Japan-ROK relations
  1. The recent public call for the logo for the 60th anniversary of the normalization of the Japan-ROK relations received a large number of applications from both Japan and the ROK. The Ministry appreciates all applicants who sent in their applications.
  2. As a result of the selection process by the Japanese and ROK governments, the one above has been determined to be the logo for the 60th anniversary of the normalization of the Japan-ROK relations.
  3. The catchphrase for the 60th anniversary of the normalization of the Japan-ROK relations has also been decided based on the consideration of the Japanese and ROK governments. (The official English translation of the catchphrase is “Joining Hands for a Better Future”.)
  4. The logo and catchphrase will be used as the official symbol for the 60th anniversary of the normalization of the Japan-ROK relations. They can also be used by projects accredited as official projects which commemorate the 60th anniversary.
