Courtesy Call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs TSUJI by Governor Little of the State of Idaho

On November 7th, commencing at 5:30 p.m., for approximately 25 minutes, Mr. TSUJI Kiyoto, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call from the Honorable Brad Little, Governor of the State of Idaho, the United States of America. The overview of the meeting is as follows.
- At the outset, State Minister Tsuji welcomed Governor Little’s visit to Japan, and expressed his gratitude for Governor Little’s leadership in strengthening the Japan-Idaho relationship. He also pointed out the increasing importance of investment projects and research and development initiatives between the states and regions of Japan and the United States, including Idaho, in further strengthening the Japan-U.S. economic relationship, and expressed his wish to continue to strengthen the relationship with Idaho.
- Governor Little explained Idaho’s efforts to further enhance trade relations between Japan and Idaho as well as recent investment projects. The two sides exchanged views on a wide range of topics, including U.S. domestic politics.
