The 8th Japan-Pakistan High-Level Economic Policy Dialogue was held in Tokyo on October 3, 2024. Mr. AKAHORI Takeshi, Senior Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, and Dr. Kazim Niaz, Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs represented respective sides.

In the meeting, Japan and Pakistan exchanged views on topics including updates on the Government’s reform initiatives and key priorities, measures to promote Pakistan’s export and investment in Pakistan and economic cooperation.
