Meeting between Foreign Minister KAMIKAWA and H.E. Mr. German Galushchenko, Minister of Energy of Ukraine

On April 26, commencing at 12:48 p.m. for approximately 25 minutes, Ms. KAMIKAWA Yoko, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, held a meeting with H.E. Mr. German Galushchenko, Minister of Energy of Ukraine, during his visit to Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows.
- Minister Kamikawa welcomed Minister Galushchenko and stated that Japan wishes to further deepen cooperation in the energy sector. She also noted that Japan stands with the people of Ukraine and will continue to support recovery and reconstruction in Ukraine.
- Minister Galushchenko provided an update on damages sustained by energy-related facilities in Ukraine and expressed his gratitude for Japan's assistance to Ukraine. Both sides concurred that Japan and Ukraine would continue to work together on the energy sector in Ukraine.

The visit is aimed at contributing to the strengthening of the energy sector in Ukraine by inviting the Minister of Energy of Ukraine and others to power plants and energy-related facilities in Japan.
