On March 20, on the occasion of Nowruz, Ms. KAMIKAWA Yoko, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan issued a message to the people globally who are celebrating Nowruz as below.

I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the people in Japan and all over the world celebrating Nowruz.
Today is also the "Vernal Equinox Day" in Japan, a national holiday to celebrate nature and to cherish all living things. With the arrival of the warmth of spring, it is the season to enjoy cherry blossoms and other flowers throughout Japan.
On the occasion of Nowruz, I would like to express my determination to work with everyone to make the new year full of hope, and I sincerely wish you all a wonderful year.
