Parliamentary Vice-Minister Fukazawa makes a remark at the reception

On March 12, commencing at 6:30 p.m., Mr. FUKAZAWA Yoichi, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs attended the Reception for official visit by H.E. Mr. Margus TSAHKNA, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia in Tokyo, Japan. The overview is as follows.

  1. Following the opening remark by H.E. Mr. Mait MARTINSON, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Estonia to Japan and Foreign Minister Mr. Margus TSAHKNA, Parliamentary Secretary Fukasawa delivered his remark.
  2. In his speech, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Fukazawa stated that cooperation with Estonia, which shares fundamental values, has become more important than ever in the current challenging international situation, and welcomed the progress of close bilateral ties, noting the 4th Japan-Baltic Cooperation Dialogue held this month and Foreign Minister Mr. Tsavkuna's visit to Japan as a guest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
  3. Parliamentary Vice-Minister Fukazawa also mentioned that Estonia has strengths in various innovations such as ICT and startups, which has been helping to solve social issues in Japan as well, and expressed his willingness to continue to further develop Japan-Estonia relations in his capacity as Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs.
