Courtesy Call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs TSUJI by H.E. Mr. Evrard, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Japan

On December 21, commencing at 4:00 p.m., for approximately 25 minutes, Mr. TSUJI Kiyoto, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. Antoine Evrard, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Japan. The overview of the meeting is as follows.
- At the outset, State Minister Tsuji expressed that he is pleased to exchange communications with Belgium on various occasions such as the “King’s Day” reception. In response, Ambassador Evrard expressed his satisfaction that there is considerable communication between the two countries at various levels, and expressed his desire to continue to work closely with Japan.
- They exchanged views on a variety of topics, including Belgium’s efforts to hold the EU presidency in the first half of 2024 and Belgium’s participation in the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, in addition to State Minister Tsuji󠄀’s visit to Belgium in November.
