The start of the negotiations on preparation of the bilateral document between Japan and Ukraine based on the “Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine”

- Today (on 7th October) the first round of negotiations on the preparation of the bilateral document between Japan and Ukraine, based on the “Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine” issued by G7 and Ukraine in the occasion of NATO Summit in July this year, has been conducted. The negotiation took place in the presence of the Director General of the European Bureau, Mr Nakagome, from Japanese side and the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mr Zhovkva from Ukrainian side.
- Both sides confirmed the basic position of both sides towards future negotiations and agreed to work together on the preparation of the document between the two countries.
