Exchange of Notes concerning Japan's Cultural Grant Assistance to the Republic of Zambia for “the Project for the Improvement of Equipment for Research, Conservation, Exhibition and Education at the Livingstone Museum”

- On 25 April 2023, in Lusaka H.E. Mr. TAKEUCHI Kazuyuki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Zambia and Honourable Dr. Situmbeko Musokotwane, Minister of Finance and National Planning of the Republic of Zambia exchanged notes concerning Japan's Cultural Grant Assistance up to the amount of 89.3 million Yen for“the Project for the Improvement of Equipment for Research, Conservation, Exhibition and Education at the Livingstone Museum”.
- This project aims to provide the Livingstone Museum with necessary equipment for its activities such as research, conservation, exhibition and education.
- This project is expected to promote the nation’s understanding of its culture and natural heritage, to upgrade the value of those assets, to improve the environment for the conservation of the assets, and thereby to contribute to mutual understanding among the people, and promoting the peace and sustainable environment of the nation.
