Courtesy call on Foreign Minister HAYASHI by H.E. Mr. Børge Brende, President of the World Economic Forum (WEF)
On November 24, commencing at 4:30 p.m., for approximately 30 minutes, Mr. HAYASHI Yoshimasa, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Børge Brende, President of the World Economic Forum.
Minister HAYASHI, after welcoming President Brende’s visit to Japan, exchanged views with him the situations of the regions as well as the challenges that the international community is facing.
President Brende explained the expected outcomes of the WEF’s annual meeting (Davos conference) that is to be held next January. President Brende also expressed his high hopes for Japan’s leadership, chairing the G7 Hiroshima Summit next year.
