Online Courtesy Call on Parliamentary Vice-Minister Mr. MIYAKE by Asian Vision Institute (AVI) of Cambodia

On December 13, Mr. MIYAKE Shingo, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, received an online courtesy call from Dr. Chheang Vannarith, President of Asian Vision Institute (AVI) of Cambodia, and fellows of the AVI, who are currently joining an online program hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

  1. Mr. Miyake stated that Japan engaged in the peace process and restoration of Cambodia and has been continuing the cooperation for the economic development and the democratization, and Japan would like to extend the cooperation in the other areas including digital. Mr. Miyake also expressed his expectation that this online program would promote academic exchanges between the both countries.
  2. Dr. Chheang Vannarith stated that he would like to expand the network of the AVI with public and private institutions of Japan through this program as well as to promote the cooperation between the both countries as the Cambodia’s research institution.
