The 16th Japan-Central America Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation

- The 16th Japan-Central America Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation will be held on July 30 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
- This vice-ministerial meeting has been held since 1995, alternately in Japan and in Central America (El Salvador, Guatemala, Costa-Rica, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Panama, Belize and Honduras).
- This year, Mr. Kenta Wakabayashi, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs; Mr. Shinsuke Sugiyama, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs; Mr. Kenji Hiramatsu, Deputy Vice-Minister for Foreign Policy; Mr. Akira Yamada, Director-General of the Latin American and Caribbean Affairs Bureau; and vice-ministers or their deputies of the Central American countries will participate in the Forum to discuss Japan-Central America relations and challenges facing the international society.
