Visit to Japan by H.E. Mr. Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the French Republic

- On May 7, H.E. Mr. Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, will visit Japan.
- The Third Japan-France Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue will be held on May 7 between Minister Fabius and Mr. Fumio Kishida, Minister for Foreign Affairs. At the dialogue, the two will have an exchange of opinions on a wide range of topics, including cooperation on regional and international issues in addition to the Japan-France bilateral relationship.
[Reference] Japan-France Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue
During a Japan-France Summit Meeting (in Paris) in May 2011, then-Prime Minister Naoto Kan and then-President of the French Republic Nicolas Sarkozy agreed to hold Japan-France Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogues. The first dialogue was held in Tokyo on January 13, 2012, and the second was held in Paris on October 16, 2012.
