International Forum on Acceptance of Foreign Nationals and their Integration into Japan

On March 2, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) will host the FY2021 “International Forum on Acceptance of Foreign Nationals and their Integration into Japan”.
- At this 17th forum, under the overall theme of "Healthcare and Foreign Residents in Japan", we introduce issues and good practices related to access to healthcare, which is becoming particularly necessary due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease, to deepen understanding the integration of foreign nationals among Japanese society.
- At the beginning of the forum, Ms. Takako Suzuki, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, will deliver an opening remarks, and the keynote speech by Mr. Antonio Vitorino, Director General of IOM will be given. In addition, experts from Japan and overseas will be invited to give lectures, case studies, and hold panel discussions.
