Commencement of negotiations for the Tax Convention with Ukraine

  1. The Government of Japan and the Government of Ukraine will commence negotiations for the new Convention replacing the current Tax Convention between the two countries which entered into force in 1986 (Convention between the Government of Japan and the Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics for the Avoidance of Double Taxation with respect to Taxes on Income).
  2. The negotiations will take place from March 22, 2021.
