The tragic shooting in Province of Nova Scotia, Canada

1. In relation to the large number of casualties arising from a tragic shooting that occurred in Province of Nova Scotia, Canada, on April 18th and 19th, Japan extends its sincere condolences to those who lost their lives and their bereaved families and expresses its heartfelt sympathy to those who were injured.
2. Such actions are unjustifiable for any reason. Japan firmly condemns these actions and expresses solidarity with the Canadian government and its people.
