UK Foreign Secretary to Visit Japan and Hold the Eighth Japan-UK Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue
1. The Rt Hon Dominic Raab MP, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom will visit Japan from February 8 to 9, 2020.
2. On this occasion, Mr. Motegi Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will hold the eighth Japan-UK Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue with Foreign Secretary Raab on February 8.
3. As Japan and the UK will continue to be global and strategic partners which share universal values after the UK's withdrawal from the EU, the two Ministers will discuss further enhancement of Japan-UK relations in wide-ranging areas including security and defence, economy, culture, and cooperation towards the realization of a Free and Open Indo-Pacific. They will also discuss regional affairs and international cooperation.
