The President of the Republic of El Salvador to Visit Japan

1. H.E. Mr. Nayib Armando Bukele Ortez, President of the Republic of El Salvador and his spouse, will visit to Japan from November 28 to December 1.
2. During their stay in Japan, Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, will hold a meeting with President Bukele. Prime Minister and Mrs. Abe also will host a dinner for the President and his spouse.
3. The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President Bukele and his spouse, which will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and El Salvador.

This will be the first bilateral visit to Japan by the President of the Republic of El Salvador in approximately thirteen years since the last visit in 2006 by President Saca.
