Ninth Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Intersessional Ministerial Meeting

1. The Ninth Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Intersessional Ministerial Meeting will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on October 12.
2. From the Japanese side, Mr. Isshu Sugawara, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, and officials from relevant ministries will attend the meeting.
3. The current status of negotiations in each area will be reported in this meeting, and way forward for the RCEP Summit in this November, amongst others, will be discussed.
