International Forum on Acceptance of Foreign Nationals and
Their Integration into Japan

1. On October 31, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will jointly hold the“International Forum on Acceptance of Foreign Nationals and Their Integration into Japan”with the International Organization for Migration.
2. In this forum, under the theme of “Smooth acceptance of foreign nationals in local communities”, we will discuss good practices and issues related to approaches to deepen Japanese society’s as receiving side understanding of the issue. Panelists with various backgrounds, such as local governments, private companies etc. who are engage in the acceptance of foreign nationals and supporting them will take part in the Forum. Case examples by an overseas expert will also be introduced.
