Foreign Minister Taro Kono’s Visit to France

1. Mr. Taro Kono, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit Dinard, French Republic, from April 4 to 7 in order to attend the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.
2. Minister Kono is scheduled to exchange views candidly on pressing challenges for the international community and regional situations among the G7 members.

The meeting will be attended by the Foreign Ministers of the United States, Italy, France, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom and Japan and and the High Representative of the EU. This year the meeting will be chaired by Hon. Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France.
