Foreign Minister Kono to Visit Canada and the United States of America

1. Mr. Taro Kono, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, will visit Montreal, New York and Washington D.C. from September 21 to 30.

2. During his stay in Montreal, Minister Kono will attend Women Foreign Ministers’ meeting, and exchange views with foreign ministers and other officials from various countries.

3. During his stay in New York, Minister Kono is scheduled to attend various international conferences and bilateral foreign ministers’ meetings that will be held in conjunction with the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly, and exchange views with foreign ministers and other officials from various countries.

4. During his stay in Washington D.C., Minister Kono is scheduled to give a speech at School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University.
