President of the Federal Republic of Germany to Visit Japan

1. H.E. Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, and his spouse, Ms. Elke Büdenbender, will pay a visit to Japan from February 6 to February 7, 2017.
2. During their stay in Japan, Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, will hold a meeting with the President and host a dinner in his honor.
3. The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President and his spouse, and hopes that the visit will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and the Federal Republic of Germany.
