Exchange of Notes on an Agreement to Dispatch Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers to the Republic of Serbia
1. On January 15, an exchange of notes on an agreement to dispatch Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) was signed in Belgrade between Mr. Junichi MARUYAMA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of the Serbia, and H.E. Ms. Jadranka Joksimovic, Minister of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia, under the high presence of The Hon. Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, and H.E. Mr. Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Republic of Serbia.
2. This agreement provides the basic framework for the dispatch of JOCV to the Republic of Serbia. As a result of this agreement, it is expected that the JOCV dispatched by Japan to the Republic of Serbia will be able to actively contribute to the economic and social development of the Republic of Serbia in various fields.
