Visit by Mr. Masahiko Komura, Special Envoy of the Prime Minister, to the Islamic Republic of Iran

1. From September 5 to 7, Mr. Masahiko Komura, Vice-President of the Liberal Democratic Party and the Chairman of the Japan-Iran Parliamentary Friendship League and a former Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit the Islamic Republic of Iran as Special Envoy of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
2. During his stay in Iran, Special Envoy Komura will hold meetings with high-level figures to exchange views on Japan-Iran relations and international affairs including the nuclear agreement.
