Fourth Meeting of the Joint Committee under the Agreement between Japan and the Kingdom of Thailand for an Economic Partnership
1. The fourth Meeting of the Joint Committee under the Agreement between Japan and the Kingdom of Thailand for an Economic Partnership (JTEPA) was held on 23 August 2017 in Bangkok, the Kingdom of Thailand.
2. Mr. Kazuyuki Nakane, State Minister for Foreign Affairs and H.E. Mr. Virasakdi Futrakul, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand co-chaired the meeting and other government representatives from the both sides attended the meeting.
3. In this meeting, both sides exchanged their views on the implementation and operation of JTEPA since the agreement’s entry into force in November 2007, including the development since the third Joint Committee Meeting held on 14 September 2011, and decided to commence a general review of JTEPA in the tenth calendar year following the entry into force based on the provision of the agreement.
