Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida’s Visit to Lucca, Italy

1. Mr. Fumio Kishida, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit Lucca, the Italian Republic, from April 9 to 12 in order to attend the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.
2. Minister Kishida is scheduled to carry out frank exchanges of views among the G7 members regarding pressing issues facing the international community and regional situations.

The meeting will be attended by the Foreign Ministers of the United States, Italy, France, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom and Japan and and the High Representative of the EU. This year the meeting will be chaired by Hon. Angelino Alfano, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy.
