FY2016 INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON ACCEPTANCE OF FOREIGN NATIONALS AND THEIR INTEGRATION INTO JAPAN
- Toward an Intercultural Society：Focusing on Life and Active Participation of Foreign Women in Japan-

1. On March 1, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) will jointly hold the “FY2016 International Workshop on Acceptance of Foreign Nationals and Their Integration into Japan” with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) .
2. Mr. Kentaro Sonoura, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, is scheduled to make opening remarks at the International Workshop.
3. This time, under the theme, “Toward an Intercultural Society：Focusing on Life and Active Partipation of Foreign Women in Japan”, we will discuss how the Japanese society can be where female foreign residents can adapt themselves and play active roles as local members.
