Visit by Mr. Masahiko Komura, Special Envoy of the Prime Minister, to the Islamic Republic of Iran

1. From January 10 to 12, Mr. Masahiko Komura, Vice-President of the Liberal Democratic Party (also the Chairman of the Japan-Iran Parliamentary Friendship League and a former Minister for Foreign Affairs), will visit the Islamic Republic of Iran as a Special Envoy of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
2. During his stay in Iran, Special Envoy Komura will hold meetings with high-level figures to exchange views on Japan-Iran relations and international affairs including the nuclear agreement.
