Study Tour to Fukuoka City and Iki City by the Diplomatic Corps in Japan

1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan will organize a Study Tour jointly with Fukuoka City Office and Iki City Office for the diplomatic corps staioned in Japan from November 7 to 9.

2. These Study Tours are held every year by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with local governments in order to showcase regional attractions such as culture and industries to diplomats posted in Japan.

3. During this Study Tour, the diplomatic corps will visit research, tourism, and history-related facilities of these two Cities, and it is expected that their understanding of Fukuoka City and Iki City will be deepened through this Tour.

4. Expected participants:

20 diplomats (including their family members) from 14 countries
Botswana, Palau, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Kosovo, Colombia, Syria, South Africa, Argentine, Australia, Luxemburg, Urguay, Benin, Uganda
