Minister of Mining of the Republic of Ecuador to Visit Japan

1. H.E. Javier Córdova Unda, Minister of Mining of the Republic of Ecuador, will visit Japan upon the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan from March 21 to 27.
2. During his stay, Minister Córdova will meet with Mr. Yoji Muto, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan. Mr. Córdova is also scheduled to give a speech at the 11th FY2015 JOGMEC Mineral Resources Seminar “Ecuador, the Mining Frontier,” hosted by the Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC).
3. Japan hopes that the visit by Minister Córdova will deepen the economic relationship between Japan and Ecuador.
