Prime Minister Abe and Foreign Minister Kishida to Attend Japan-China-ROK Trilateral Summit Meeting

1. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is scheduled to visit Seoul, Republic of Korea from November 1 to 2 to attend the Trilateral Summit Meeting among Japan, China and the Republic of Korea (ROK), among other events, if circumstances permit. Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida is also scheduled to visit Seoul from October 31 to November 2, if circumstances permit, to accompany Prime Minister Abe.

2. At the Japan-China-ROK Trilateral Summit Meeting, the leaders will discuss trilateral cooperation and regional and global issues. Bilateral meetings with the ROK at the summit and foreign ministerial levels are scheduled to take place on this occasion. A summit meeting with China is also being coordinated.
