The crane collapse accident at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, Saudi Arabia

1. I feel deep sorrow at the grievous loss of many lives by the crane collapse accident, which occurred at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, Saudi Arabia on September 11.
2. The Government of Japan extends its deep condolences to those who lost lives in the incident, their bereaved families and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Japan also expresses its heartfelt sympathy toward the injured and prays for their early recovery.
