UK Foreign Secretary to Visit Japan and Hold the Fourth Japan-UK Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue

1. Rt Hon Philip Hammond MP, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom will visit Japan on August 8, 2015.
2. During his stay in Japan, Mr. Fumio Kishida, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Foreign Secretary Hammond are scheduled to hold the fourth Japan-UK Foreign Ministers' Strategic Dialogue in Tokyo.
3. Based on the outcomes of the third Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue held in January this year, Japan will exchange views with the UK, an important partner which shares fundamental values, on security issues, regional affairs such as East Asia, and global challenges.
