Messages of Condolences from Prime Minister Abe and Foreign Minister Kishida for the Damage Caused by the Floods in India

In the wake of the flooding and damage in a wide area of India caused by the torrential rain, Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister, and Mr. Fumio Kishida, Minister for Foreign Affairs, sent messages respectively to Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister, and Ms. Sushma Swaraj, Minister for External Affairs, on August 5, which extend condolences to the affected people and wishes for rapid recovery and reconstruction of the affected areas and conveyed Japan's readiness to provide assistance upon a request from the Government of India.
