In the wake of the damage in Vanuatu caused by the Cyclone Pam generated on 9 March, Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister, and Mr. Fumio Kishida, Minister for Foreign Affairs, on March 15, sent messages respectively to the Honourable Joe Natuman, Prime Minister, and the Honourable Meltek Sato Kilman Livtuvanu, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and External Trade, extending condolences to the affected people and wishes for rapid rehabilitation and reconstruction of the affected areas.
