Japan-Viet Nam International Law Dialogue

1. On July 22 (Tuesday) and 23 (Wednesday), Japan-Viet Nam International Law Dialogue was held in Tokyo.
2. Mr. Takeo Akiba, Director-General, International Legal Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant officials from the Japanese side and Ms. NGUYEN Thi Thanh Ha, Director-General, Department of International Law and Treaties of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and other relevant officials attended the meeting and exchanged their views on various issues related to international law, including the rule of law at sea, cooperation through international organizations and contribution to international peace and security.
