Dispatch of Ambassador on Special Mission to the Inauguration Ceremony of the President of the Republic of Panama

1. The Government of Japan has decided to dispatch House of Representatives member Seishiro Eto (Chairman of the Japan-Panama Parliamentary Friendship League) as Ambassador on Special Mission to the inauguration ceremony of Mr. Juan Carlos Varela Rodriguez as President of the Republic of Panama, which is scheduled to be held in Panama’s capital city of Panama City on July 1.
2. Japan and the Republic of Panama have long maintained amicable relations. House of Representatives member Eto is appointed as Ambassador on Special Mission and dispatched to the inauguration ceremony in order to further deepen the bilateral relationship.
