“Reception for Revival Support” to be Hosted by Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Seiji Kihara
1. On February 4, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Seiji Kihara will host a reception for supporting international exchanges of local governments at Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa.
2. Local governments and diplomatic corps in Japan etc. will be invited to attend this reception, and to exchange views for the purpose of supporting local governments’ efforts to reconstructs and to dispel harmful rumors as Japan approaches three years since the Great East Japan Earthquake. Booths will also be set up inside the venue so that local governments can showcase their food safety, tourism appeal, promotion of investment etc.
3. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs supports the overseas activities of local industries as a part of its support for various international efforts by local governments and for Japanese companies, and this reception will also be held as one such initiative.
