Visit to Japan by Mr. Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, Minister of Shipping,Maritime Affairs and the Aegean of Greece

1. From December 9 to 15, Mr. Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, Minister of Shipping,Maritime Affairs and the Aegean of Greece will visit Japan upon the invitation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
2. During his stay in Japan, Minister Varvitsiotis is scheduled to hold meetings with Mr. Akihiro Ota, Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and Mr. Takao Makino, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, and also exchange opinions with organizations related to shipping and maritime affairs.
3. It is expected that the visit to Japan by Minister Varvitsiotis will further advance the cooperative relations in the fields of shipping, maritime affairs and others between Japan and Greece.
