Study Tour to Fukushima Prefecture by the Diplomatic Corps in Japan
1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan will organize a Study Tour with Fukushima Prefecture for the diplomatic corps in Japan from November 5 to 6.
2. These regional study tours are held every year by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with local governments in order to showcase regional attractions such as culture and industries for diplomats in Japan.
3. During this Study Tour, the diplomatic corps in Japan are scheduled to be introduced to the prefecture’s reconstruction efforts and the safety and peace of mind of the prefecture’s foods, and to visit the prefecture’s historical and cultural-related facilities, in order to deepen their understanding of Fukushima Prefecture.
4. Expected participants:
Samoa, Ethiopia, Ghana, Dominican Republic, Germany, Tanzania, Rwanda, Russia, Singapore, Turkey, Fiji, Indonesia, Zambia, Libya, India,and Austria.
