Attendance of Minister for Foreign Affairs Fumio Kishida at the APEC Ministerial Meeting

1. Minister for Foreign Affairs Fumio Kishida will visit Bali, Indonesia from October 4 to 5 to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Ministerial Meeting.
2. Views on a range of themes will be exchanged at this year’s APEC Ministerial Meeting, including the liberalization of regional trade and investment. Minister Kishida will attend various APEC meetings and exchange views with the participants including member ministers.
